Animal sounds for the smallest listeners
Hello Animals: Real Sounds is an iPhone app for children aged 1 to 3. A child picks a category, meets an animal, and hears how it really sounds.
Thirty-six animals across five categories — farm, wild, sea, birds and little creatures. Each one fills the screen with a single photograph, plays its natural sound on its own, and says its name out loud when the name is tapped. A tap on the animal plays the sound again; a swipe moves to the next one. Favourites are one tap away, and the list stays on the device.
The core animal experience works offline. Every animal photograph, natural sound and spoken name is included in the App. A network connection is used for App Store purchases and restoration, adult-initiated external pages, and limited privacy-preserving product analytics when analytics are permitted and enabled.
What is not in the app
- No advertising of any kind, and no advertising SDKs.
- No sign-up, no account, no profile.
- No subscription — the full collection is one optional purchase that never renews.
- No camera, microphone, location, photos or contacts. The app asks for no permissions at all.
- No advertising identifiers, no cross-app tracking, no session replay.
Hello Animals does not collect directly identifying child information. It uses limited pseudonymous technical and product-event data for privacy-preserving analytics as described in the Privacy Policy.
Anything a grown-up should decide is behind a parental gate. Buying, restoring a purchase and opening any link outside the app require solving a small arithmetic problem first. A toddler tapping around cannot reach them.
